This class consists of children starting at 4* years old with a teacher to child ratio of 1:9.

While your child is in our care, they will go through many developmental stages that will help them grow and learn news tasks in their lives. The children play very hard and often get messy, so please dress your child in play clothing and shoes appropriate for outside play.

Parents will receive a daily Lift-Off sheet that will inform you of your child’s activities for that day and invitations and notes regarding classroom opportunities. Outside the room you will find a parent information board that will inform you of our daily schedule, menus, along with information about our weekly curriculum.

*NOTE: Children are placed in classes based on development not age.

Abby H.

Abby has education in Child Development and has worked with children for over 10 years! She is in her second year of teaching here at The Launching Pad. Abby is the middle child in a big family with deep family values. She loves to knit washcloths, work on crafts, go to movies (she's a big Marvel fan!), paint, draw, read a good book, or hang out with friends and family.

"My favorite things about four and five year olds are their curiosity and many questions! I love helping to build their independence and their knowledge about the world around them."

Susan has achieved an Associates degree in Child Development from OU, an Associates degree in Diversified Studies from OCCC, and a Certificate of Mastery in Multimedia from OCCC. She has over 15 years of experience in child care, and five of those were spent here at TLP from 1992-1997! She loves books, all things StarWars, and Disney World.

"I love that this age loves learning so much!"
